How do I gain weight and build muscle?

I have Marfan’s Syndrome (a tissue disorder), at about 102 pounds and 19 years old and I’m trying to gain weight basically everywhere, and build muscle and tone my body as well. I’ve just started jogging, about 15 minutes a day and trying for everyday. Should I do upper body exercises as well like push ups or weights? I am also drinking Boost meal supplemental drinks to help with the weight gain. Thanks for the advice!

I weighed myself today and I realized I’m in major need of weight loss. I fall in the obesity range and I’m only 22 years old. I am very motivated on losing weight. I want gain muscle as I lose weight, if that’s possible. I don’t want to lose a lot of weight and end up with a bunch of flab. Will adding weights to my diet and exercise help me build muscle instead of developing a lot of flab? Thanks for your input!
