Bradie asked:
I am a 20 year old female. I have recently started jogging for 20 minutes about 3 times a week. I want to get some muscle definition in my legs. After my first time jogging my legs were definitely sore since my muscles were getting worked. Is this enough to build some muscle definition or should I do some weight training as well?

I’m 11 years old and lifting 2 weights that are 8 pounds. If I do this everyday, 8 sets, twenty five of them, and taking ten minute breaks in between will I eventually build muscle in my arms? Just to let you know I am not overweight, I just want to build some muscle.

Jim asked: I go to the gym 4x a week and do some lifting, mainly my arms, chest, back, and abs. I do a little with my legs sometimes but not really that much. I want to concentrate on these areas with the muscle building, but i have some stubborn fat around my stomach that really doesn’t want to go away…
What can I do to help build muscle while burning away some of that fat? Like what foods should i eat?, etc?

nobody home asked:
I’m trying to lose fat, and so I’m eating less. Muscle is built by protein, so why does everyone tell you to eat more than you normally do (which would cause both muscle and fat gain)? Shouldn’t you just keep it low cal and keep the protein high?

I am currently in school to be a firefight and we do cardio for 1-2 hours four days a week. I have already lost 8 pounds (I only weight 170) and I would like to actually build more muscle. What is the best way for me to do this?
