How do you burn fat and build muscle?

I’m wanting to burn fat and build my muscle, my workout program is pretty solid. But, what my problem is nutrition. I don’t know how many calories I’m supposed to be having each day. Can anyone help me out with this?

 

I am trying to find some type of product i can use to build muscle after i workout, any suggestions?

I work out with velocity sports performance and we have 4 workouts every week. I also play six games a week for our summer baseball program at nwr.

 

How come some people just dont seem to build muscle when weight lifting?

What would i need and what exercises. I plan on buying a machine such as a bow-flex with my saved up money. Anything like that, that can build upper back muscle, pectorals muscles, and forearm/arm muscle? This is for football btw. I need to get in shape. I’m pretty scrawny so i plan on doing low reps and high weights to build muscle mass instead of endurance/toned. So any tips, exercises, or a preferred workout machine you use?

Would my plan work if I do 1 hour of cardio every day to burn off the unnecessary fat, and the later 1 hour of weightlifting to build muscle, in addition to a high protein diet?
