Best workout exercises to build muscle for football?

Anything like that, that can build upper back muscle, pectorals muscles, and forearm/arm muscle? This is for football btw. I need to get in shape. I’m pretty scrawny so i plan on doing low reps and high weights to build muscle mass instead of endurance/toned. So any tips, exercises, or a preferred workout machine you use?

Would my plan work if I do 1 hour of cardio every day to burn off the unnecessary fat, and the later 1 hour of weightlifting to build muscle, in addition to a high protein diet?
